About
The 31st Hongseong Namdang Port Prawn Festival is Hongseong's signature autumn food festival, where visitors can enjoy the clean waters of Cheonsu Bay and fresh, in-season prawns. Held at Namdang Port, a well-known food-tourism spot on the west coast, the festival lets you taste plump, in-season prawns while enjoying the port's beautiful sea views along with various performances and activities. The 2026 festival runs from September 4 to November 8 around Namdang Port, with an opening performance from September 4 to 6 and a Chuseok performance from September 25 to 26. Performers including Bin Ye-seo, Park Hyun-bin, Jang Do-hyun, Yoo Do-hyun, Kim Jung-ah, and Kim Seo-yeon will appear at the opening and Chuseok shows to add to the excitement. Namdang Port is a leading tourist spot in Cheonsu Bay known not only for prawns but also for gizzard shad and other seafood, so during the festival you can enjoy fresh seafood and local dishes while taking in the beautiful sunset over the West Sea. It's Hongseong's flagship autumn festival, where family, couples, and friends can enjoy food, performances, and sea scenery all in one place.
