About
The Hongseong Global Barbecue Festival is one of Korea's leading food festivals, letting visitors taste and enjoy a wide variety of barbecue dishes centered on Hongseong's signature Korean beef (hanwoo) and pork (handon). It combines Hongseong's excellent livestock resources with barbecue content to offer distinctive food, sights, and hands-on experiences. Through diverse food content — including theme park barbecue, global barbecue, and "nallohoe" barbecue — it introduces domestic and international visitors to the taste and charm of Hongseong. Large custom-built barbecue grills also provide a spectacular sight, helping the festival grow beyond a simple food event into a tourism festival that satisfies all five senses. As the sacred ground of barbecue, Hongseong will present a special festival where visitors can experience the region's flavor and culture through its high-quality hanwoo, handon, and local specialties grilled to perfection.
