About
This festival is based on a folktale about two devoted brothers that has been passed down in Daeheung-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. It's a family-friendly cultural festival that reinterprets the values of brotherly love, sharing, and consideration for the present day. The program includes storytelling-based hands-on activities inspired by the tale, traditional games, family events, cultural performances, and a market selling local food and farm products. Activities are designed for visitors of all ages to experience local history and culture while learning the value of community. Near the festival grounds are Yesan-gun's well-known attractions, the Yedanho Suspension Bridge and Yedanho Monorail, making this a representative cultural tourism festival where you can enjoy both local culture and sightseeing.
