About
Starting in 2015 to promote the premium ginseng grown in Icheon, Korea's largest ginseng-producing region, the festival was renamed the Icheon Ginseng & Health Festival in 2025 to combine ginseng with a health theme and establish itself as the top ginseng-health festival in the Seoul metropolitan area. Set against the autumn scenery, it's a special event where visitors can enjoy ginseng's deep, rich aroma while caring for their health, with great deals to see and buy top-quality Icheon ginseng in person. People of all ages can take part in hands-on health and fun activities built around ginseng, such as ginseng tasting and judging, making ginseng health kimchi, and ginseng foot baths. Guest singer performances, lively stage shows, and a ginseng auction with the crowd all add to the festive atmosphere. As one of Icheon's signature festivals, it also lets visitors taste healthy dishes made with fresh ginseng, like ginseng fritters and ginseng makgeolli.
