Eobu Market Xpoteubilliji Tongyeong

The 2026 Fisherman's Market x Port Village Tongyeong is a local food festival born from a collaboration between Tongyeong's Fisherman's Market and the port food festival Port Village. It will be held for three days, from November 6 to 8, 2026, at the Triathlon Square in Donam-dong, Tongyeong, showcasing a variety of dishes made with Tongyeong's signature seafood and local ingredients. The festival is organized into three main sections: general food booths, performance booths, and chef consultation booths. The general food booths serve dishes made with Tongyeong's representative seafood like oysters, eel, sea squirt, and red seabream. The performance booths offer live cooking, menu presentations, and visitor participation, combining the cooking process with entertainment, while the chef consultation booths feature collaborations with renowned chefs to develop new dishes using Tongyeong's local ingredients. The festival uses Tongyeong's sea and food culture as local content, creating opportunities for local brands and producers to meet visitors directly. It also aims to go beyond a one-time event by linking pre- and post-festival promotion, content, and brand outcomes, operating as a platform that connects the festival with Tongyeong's tourism and local branding.
