About
The Siheung Wolgot Fishing Port Festival is a sea-side festival where you can enjoy all kinds of harbor experiences right in the middle of the city. It offers a rich lineup of programs, from lively harbor activities that blend city life with the sea to food made from fresh, in-season seafood caught by local fishermen, creating unforgettable memories for visitors. Signature activities like boarding a fishing boat, catching fish bare-handed, and catching giant shrimp let you get up close with the sea, while the Wolgot Moonlight Concert, enjoyed by three generations together, along with the opening and closing fireworks shows, are among the most popular programs drawing crowds every year. You can also find things unique to this festival, such as surprise seafood auctions, a dried seafood wholesale market, and a hands-on salted shrimp-making experience — genuine slices of fishing village life at the harbor.
