Inje Autumn Flower Festival

The 2026 Inje Autumn Flower Festival marks the 100th birthday of poet Park In-hwan, a leading figure of Korean modernist poetry, with a distinctive garden that blends literary sensibility with vivid autumn blooms. The festival's biggest highlight is enjoying an array of autumn flowers in spaces that reinterpret the poet's romanticism in a modern way, letting visitors soak in a literary afterglow. The festival grounds are laid out along themed paths. Start with 'Being Happy,' featuring Park In-hwan's Romantic Garden, a flower rest area, and a lucky viewpoint; then 'Being in Love,' with a wildflower garden and chrysanthemum bonsai exhibit; and 'Communicating,' with a cozy waterside walking path and a slow mailbox — all perfect for an unhurried autumn stroll. In 'Healing,' visitors can wander through a forest café and a writers'/community garden, and enjoy nature programs like tree climbing, a treehouse, a children's forest, and bookmark-making. Food and fun are well covered too, with the 'Well-being Market' selling local produce and chrysanthemums, various craft activities, food trucks, and lively performances. Extra events like a flower-path stamp tour, a sketch contest, and a rock-paper-scissors contest round out a perfect autumn outing. Basic admission is free, while some hands-on programs charge a fee.
