About

The 31st Gangdong Prehistoric Culture Festival is a history and culture festival centered on prehistoric life, held around Amsa-dong in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. It's centered on the Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement Site, Seoul's most important Neolithic-era site, and aims to share the lifestyle and historical value of prehistoric culture. Visitors can directly experience and understand Neolithic culture through hands-on activities, exhibitions, performances, and participatory programs. Using the historic site and local cultural resources, the festival brings together local residents and visitors in a shared celebration. It's designed to showcase Gangdong-gu's cultural identity, introduce the historical tourism assets of the Amsa-dong area, and share the meaning of prehistoric culture with everyone.
