코리아 그랜드 페스티벌은 코리아 세일 페스타(산업부), 숙박세일 페스타(문체부), 동행축제(중기부), 농축산물 할인행사(농식품부), 수산물 할인행사(해수부), 우체국 쇼핑 프로모션(과기부), 코리아 듀티 프리 페스타(관세청) 등 각 부처에 산재된 할인행사, 상품권‧쿠폰 등 소비촉진 정책을 통합한 최초 국가단위 소비축제이다. 정부부처, 지자체, 유통업계, 전통시장, 중소기업‧소상공인 등이 함께 참여해 전국 곳곳에서 다양한 할인과 소비혜택, 여행과 문화 콘텐츠를 선보인다. 쇼핑과 먹거리부터 전통시장, 지역관광과 여행까지 다채로운 즐길 거리를 한자리에서 만나볼 수 있으며, 지역 곳곳의 특색있는 콘텐츠를 경험하며 특별한 여행을 즐길 수 있다.
