철원 한탄강 얼음트레킹 축제는 철원 한탄강의 수려한 설경을 배경으로 개최되는 철원군 대표 겨울축제로 '대한민국 축제콘텐츠 대상' 명예의 전당에 등록되어 있으며 26-27 문화관광부 선정 우수축제로 지정되어 있다. 철원 한탄강 물윗길트레킹 코스와 연계되는 축제로 한탄강의 설경은 물론 주행사장인 승일교 하단에서 축제기간 내내 각종 공연과 겨울관련 체험을 할 수 있고 '똥바람알통구보대회'등 이벤트가 진행된다.
